We start each session with a short self-care practice to refill YOUR energy, to consciously shift from your daily life’s hustle/rush into a calmer state of mind.
We then dive into your burning questions, doubts, sorrows, or concerns. We sometimes work in break-out rooms, to exchange and reflect in small groups so you can experience that you are not the only one dealing with certain issues. Sometimes I’ll be “teaching” – sharing research or a parenting tool. Or I’ll do coaching with one person, while others see how it applies to them. Or we’ll look at an issue and brainstorm a solution.
Besides better understanding your own needs, behavior, and longings, we will also talk about ways to empathetically observe and respond to your child 0-14. Growing up with Waldorf education and deeply inspired by the Pikler Approach, I find that compassion, empathy, and mindfulness are my roots for best supporting your own well-being and that of your unfolding child.
